St. Luke’s Episcopal Church is dedicated to providing KnoxCounty youth with the opportunity to develop their talents as chess players through education and competition. We believe that by engaging youth in the game of chess they can enhance their analytical thinking as well as critical reasoning skills to better prepare them to address the challenges of daily living. “Even the most calculated move on the board has consequences.”
Chess Camp at St. Luke’s is a safe place for your child to develop an appreciation for chess through the history, tactics, and concentration, just to name a few. Of course, your child will meet new friends and hopefully continue the study of the game.
